These are all signs of anxiety and can be exhausting and scary.
Relieving your anxiety is my specialty and I can help you find ways to manage your anxiety better.

Slow down your racing heart, reduce your chest pains and other physical symptoms, and understand why these happen
As well as working with Anxiety and panic I have also had specialist training in working with those who have experienced childhood abuse.

Counselling is useful to everyone.
Sometimes life can throw some difficult challenges your way, at times you will know how to cope, at other times a little help is needed to make things better.
That is when counselling can be helpful to you.
I specialise in working with anxiety and uncovering why anxiety is such a big part of some peoples lives.
If worry, anxiety and panic attacks are a problem for you I can help you explore what is causing you the anxiety and together we can work on strategies to help you manage it better.
Anxiety can be caused by recent or past events and understanding why these are causing you anxiety helps you to understand how changes in your life can reduce these feelings and lead to a happier more content life for you

- Everything you tell me will be confidential, and although I won't fix things for you, I will help you to find a way to fix things yourself.
There is no 'one size fits all' with counselling, so I work with what is best for you and the problems you bring.
For example, CBT is good for anxiety but person centred is best if you are trying to work through a particularly difficult time in your life. ie divorce, grief etc. I make sure we work together in a way that is most effective for you and give you the results youa re looking for.

Unlike the NHS counselling service I do not have a long waiting list, generally I can make an appointment to see you within a week.
Your introductory session is at a reduced rate of £20 allowing you to meet me and find out how we can work together.
Future sessions are then at £40 for 50 minute
To book your first session please phone, text or e-mail me and I will get back to you, usually within a couple of hours, and we can find a time that suits you and book an initial session.
ANXIETY SUPPORT GROUP
If individual sessions are not affordable for you then join my support group.
Over 12 weeks change your mindset. Through the introduction of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based tools you will understand what causes your anxiety and learn strategies to manage your anxiety long term.
If face to face or group work is a bit scary for you I offer a 12 week online course which focuses on easy to use tools and worksheets that help you reduce your anxiety, alongside personalised weekly e-mail support..
